Post Poor

I have nothing really, not a thing.

I posted a new picture in the photoblog and even it is pretty blah. I would say that my weekend was average. Nothing awesome to report although…

My church had a talent night Saturday. While there was some talent portions it seemed more like a chance to play jokes on unsuspecting church members than anything. From making them sit on ice cold wet towels to trying to make them eat tainted chocolate pies, it was all there.

Usually I find that sort of thing funny, but I really wasn’t anticipating it for a church talent show so it was unexpected and slightly unwelcome. I think some lessons were learned though. Such as the following:

1) Children and whipped cream pies do not mix.

2) If you are going to try and feed someone a chocolate pie that has garlic in it you might want to plug their nose temporarily as the smell was pretty much a give away!

3) With number 2 in mind you might also not want to give a free spirit a bad smelling pie without tying their hands down first. It took awhile to get the chocolate off the walls and the people!

Sure, it could have been fun had I been expecting a free for all but I wasn’t. So instead I left the church that night feeling slightly disappointed. Fortunately for me I wasn’t involved in any pie activities so I came out smelling better than most!

    I always enjoy a quite - blah weekend. I find it restful.

    I am ready for one that is actually restful now. Even the ones where I do nothing tend to get stressful at times!
