senseless
My most heartfelt sympathy goes out to the families and friends of those who lost their lives at Virginia tech. To know that many of those lives could have been saved had some sort of procedure been followed makes it all the more senseless!
In a day and age when these things happen all too often it saddens me to see that people still do not use common sense in emergency situations! A lock-down should have been implemented after the first shooting but for some reason they decided that the shooter had left and allowed him to use the distraction of one shooting to commit many more.
All will be in my prayers and it is my hope that many will follow my lead in sending out prayers to all those who are grieving the loss of someone they loved.
God Bless

Our cousin was a professor at that college until about 4 years ago when she left to teach at another school. I’m so glad she wasn’t there yesterday.

I’ll be praying too.
For some reason this hit me pretty hard. I have no ties to anyone there that I know of but after hearing of it I wept for some time. I think maybe the fact that some of it could have been prevented may have added to my emotional response. But I just hate seeing things like this, it breaks my heart when someones life is cut so short.
